Japanese artist and Louis Vuitton Mastermind, Takashi Murakami has designed the french luggage label’s NY flagship store on 5th Ave. The facade of the building will be covered with Murakami’s famous multi colored monogram print. The interior of the store also experience somewhat of a revamp. Definitly a place to visit if you ever have the chance to go to the big apple.

Known as the most influential Jazz musician of the 20th Century, Supreme has decided to commemorate a series of t-shirts to Miles Davis. Supreme has also talked to Sony Music and the Miles Davis Foundation in order to release a special cd pack in homage to his 50th Anniversary of his greatest achievement, “Kind of Blue. Three of his productions will drop and amongst them is the Kind of Blue (1959), Nefertiti (1968) and On the Corner (1972). The collection will start releasing on November 6th at Supreme NY & LA followed by Japan in November 8th. You can also expect the collection to drop online on November 10th for both USA and Japan.

Supreme and Visvim have finally tied the not and produced two great items for their upcoming collections. Amongst the items is a Camp Cap and a series of Serra Ascent boots which were also previewd in the Supreme’s Book Vol.4. The caps will retail for 7,350 Y (73 USD) while the Boots will go for 42,000 Y (420 USD) and will drop in five colors. They are expected to drop in the coming weeks.

Japanese brand Untold hooked up with the Japanese luggage label Porter for their 2008 fall/winter collection entitled “Comfortable Simple Things”. Notable items from porter will be released such as numerous wallets, keys cases and coin cases. The materials used for the items are inspired by the American Textiles guru Alexander Girard.
